I am a contradance caller and choreographer based in New York City. Check out my blog for occasional caller thoughts and dance musings, or see where I’m calling next! (If you’re here doing publicity for an event: my headshots and bio can be found in my press kit.)
I call around the Northeast and beyond, at festivals, dance camps/weekends, and regular dances alike (including, to name a few: Queer Contra Dance Camp, ESC Week at Pinewoods, Youth Dance Weekend, Dawn Dance, LCFD Spring Dance Camp, and the NEFFA festival). (You can find a selected gig history here.)
As a choreographer, I strive to write dances that are both compelling and idiomatic. My dances have made it into some other people’s collections, and have been called as far afield as California and Alaska, so that’s pretty rad! Check them out on my choreo page.
